I’ve also realized that I am triggered more easily when I am stressed or going through a difficult season of my life. In those moments, I can become anxious, BUT I've learned strategies that work for me, and I hope these 𝟑 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 work for you too.

Some of my triggers are:

  • when people yell or speak to me disrespectfully

  • feeling abandoned or when there’s a sudden change in someone’s behavior

  • when boundaries are repeatedly ignored/violated

  • when I can tell I’m being manipulated

Are you familiar with what your triggers are? The more self-awareness you have, the easier it will be to practice these strategies or others when triggered.
